Partying Lorena Wiebes goes wild with Average Rob on stage in Wevelgem

After the finish of Gent-Wevelgem, Lorena Wiebes could not yet cheer exuberantly, waiting for the finish photo, but afterwards there was certainly a party on the podium. During the DJ set of the famous Youtuber Average Rob, Wiebes went completely crazy.

Wiebes managed to win Gent-Wevelgem for the first time on Sunday in her sixth participation. On her debut in 2019 she was already second, but after that she was no longer able to get on the podium. Yesterday she defeated the Italian Elisa Balsamo in a very exciting and close sprint. Although afterwards it was still unclear who had crossed the line first.

“I had a small premonition, but I didn’t dare say it. Then it is better not to cheer than to cheer too early, but fortunately it was enough,” said Wiebes. After the redeeming announcement from the competition jury, there was every reason to celebrate, as is evident from images shared by SD Worx-Protime on social media.
