According to social media, a ‘green cream’ is the ideal care for your skin. The color adapts to everyone’s skin and gives a natural look glow. In other words, you look instantly awake, without having to put on a thick layer of foundation. Three editors – each with a different skin type – test it out for you.

A foundation that is not a foundation: the Cicapair tiger grass clay correcting care cream from DR. JART+ reduces redness and simultaneously nourishes the skin. At least, that’s what he promises. What do our editorial staff think about this?

Designer Sofie: “Spreading the cream over my entire face is an absolute no-no for me. The shade looks very pale and pinkish, making me look like a ghost. Only correcting the red spots works better, but later in the evening I find that the cream has, as it were, melted away on my skin.”

Journalist Valeriya: “Don’t be alarmed: it’s green. Pat – don’t smear! – gently work it into the skin with your fingers and the shade will change to a skin color. Redness caused by my atopic eczema disappears and it feels soothing, nourishing and hydrating. In the meantime, I am two games further and officially a fan.”

Digital creative Graziella: “When applying the cream, it was initially a bit of a shock, until the green cream adjusted and took on a beige tint. I was genuinely surprised; my skin looked healthy and even, without the heavy feeling of a traditional foundation.”

You can buy the green cream here for 42.95 euros.

They are flooding social media and are widely praised as the crème de la crème. It’s not surprising that these viral beauty products are constantly sold out: they would work equally fantastic on everyone. But is that really the case? The NINA editors put it to the test and started spreading the word. The green cream is the first product they test.
