Actor Roel Vanderstuk responds to furious Benny in ‘Family’: “Purposefully made a conservative and even right-wing character” | Showbiz

Show bits12 years ago, the Coppens family made its appearance in ‘Familie’, in the end actor Roel Vanderstuks (47) was the only one who continued to play uninterruptedly. “When Hilde De Baerdemaeker was the first to leave, our core was affected for the first time, and that bothered me for a while,” says Roel. Now that TV daughter Jasmijn Van Hoof has made her comeback after a 2.5 year break, the actor is very happy. “We have tried to convey the same warmth with the ‘new family’ around Benny, Samira and the children,” he adds.

Although father and daughter are currently arguing because of the relationship between Stefanie and the older Lars. But is that actually right? Because Benny and Samira are several years apart. Reporter Jarne interviews the actor in his own restaurant in Kontich.
