With Sweet Sour Salt, the Leiden singing painter Robert van Hemert holds on to the top position in the Tip Parade.
At 11 weeks, Robert has the longest recorded track in the waiting room of the hits. The last time a Dutch-language track was in the Tipparade for so long was on February 5, 2022, when A Sign by Froukje reached 12 weeks. The young American R&B singer Lay Bankz climbs to number 8 in her second week, gaining five places. Tyla jumps (in collaboration with Gunna & Skillibeng) from 15 to 9 this week. The fastest climbers in this relatively quiet week are Krezip with Attention (from 23 to 13) and Sabrina Carpenter, who drinks her Espresso with a nine-place gain at number 16.

25 (–) FROM BRABANT TO BORDEAUX – Kafke & Frans Bauer
Frans Bauer currently has another real TV hit with De Bauers – 20 years later. Every Thursday evening on NPO1 after the news you can take a look into the life of Frans and his family. As far as Top 40 hits by the popular folk singer and presenter are concerned, we have to go back to October 2008 (Als Ik Met Jou Op Wolken Zweef, with Marianne Weber, #5). Frans came into contact with Kafke, whose real name is Kevin Verhoeven, through his booking agency. His career actually started as a joke, but he has now become a real crowd-puller at festivals. Kafke was very honored when he was asked by Frans Bauer to record a duet. The summery Van Brabant Naar Bordeaux could easily be Frans’s 29th Top 40 hit and Kafke’s Top 40 debut.
27 (–) KING FOR A DAY – Wildstylez & Niels Geusebroek
The Dutch hardstyle DJ Joram Metekohy, alias Wildstylez, was already an established name in the hardstyle world, but the general public will know him above all from his huge hit Year Of Summer from 2012. With the vocals of ex-participant of The Voice Of Holland, Niels Geusebroek, Year Of Summer reached number 3 in the Dutch Top 40 and was listed for 23 weeks. The duo started working together again 12 years later. With King For A Day, Joram and Niels have created the anthem for King’s Day 2024. The duo had already written the track for the first King’s Day in 2014, but it remained on the shelves. King For A Day is now really ready for King’s Day.
28 (–) PARANOIA – Moon
Last year it was quiet around Maan. According to her socials, the singer had taken the freedom to reflect, travel and rediscover her creative vision. Maan has made history by writing the biggest Dutch Top 40 hit of all time together with Goldband. Secretly went over the 1000 Top 40 points, peaked to number 2 and was listed for 32 weeks. Her latest single Paranoia premiered on all streaming services on Thursday morning and, according to the singer, marks her new musical chapter.
29 (–) QUEEN OF MY CASTLE – Kris Kross Amsterdam & Inna
The Romanian Inna has got a taste of being a hit again. Last June, the 37-year-old made her comeback in the Top 40 and scored the top 10 hit Rock My Body with the help of DJs R3hab (Fadil El Ghoul) and Sash (Sascha Lappessen). Inna managed to score her first and biggest hit in October 2008 with Hot (#2). This time it is the mega popular DJs Kris Kross Amsterdam who assist her. Queen of My Castle will premiere on Thursday evening: an adaptation of King Of My Castle by Wamdue Project, which spent two weeks at number 2 in the Top 40 in June 1999. With this one they will be very popular again in the coming weeks.
30 (–) GOOD TO YOU – Ilse DeLange
Next month it will be exactly 10 years ago that Ilse DeLange with Waylon as Common Linnets reached second place at the Eurovision Song Contest with Calm After The Storm. The singer will go on another theater tour this fall, starting on September 5 in Winterswijk. Her new album Tainted is scheduled for May 3. The title song was in the Tipparade for 6 weeks from the end of February, but did not manage to reach the Top 40. Her latest single Good To You is the next warm-up from her upcoming album.
