The important start-up communities of Hasselt, Kortrijk, Ghent, Antwerp and Leuven join forces in Hubs4Growth to connect local start-ups with other starters and interesting parties at home and abroad. Marc Beenders, Senior Corporate Community Manager of LSU, was allowed to confirm the participation of Limburg Startup in the partnership in the presence of Prime Minister Jan Jambon on Thursday in Lille.

LSU, the startup community under the wings of LRM, is one of the founding partners of Hubs4Growth, a collective of 5 leading ecosystems for startup companies. Together with Hangar K (Kortrijk), The Beacon (Antwerp), MindGate (Leuven) and WinterCircus (Ghent), we join forces to connect startups within the Flemish and international startup eco-system. Through Hubs4Growth they will guide startups in their growth and bring new technologies to the companies.

The first joint feat took place on Thursday in Lille. The brand new consortium has entered into a partnership with Euratechnologie from Lille, one of the largest French incubators. The signing took place in the presence of Prime Minister Jan Jambon.

(The birthday boy) Marc Beenders, Senior Corporate Community Manager of LSU: “Only by working well together can you make a difference as a region. Through this collaboration, Hubs4Growth sets an example within our Flemish startup eco-system. We show that we are complementary and can strengthen each other. This allows startups to be connected faster and grow faster. I am proud to be able to transcend provincial boundaries with LSU and look forward impatiently to this unique collaboration.”
