(ABM FN) The Bel20 index opened hesitantly on Thursday at 3,840.13 points, after closing on Wednesday at 3,832.99 points.

Lotus Bakeries stood out in the main index with a gain of more than 3 percent. GBL rose 0.1 percent, but the rest of the shares were in the red shortly after the start of trading. Melexis and Umicore lost 0.9 and 1.3 percent.

On the broad market there was a gain of 2.4 percent for DEME after a price target increase by Kepler Cheuvreux. Bpost fell by 1.3 percent.

Among the small caps, Sequana Medical had to give up more than 6 percent. The company still has money until the end of the third quarter of 2024 and doubts whether continuity can be maintained.

Mithra postponed the annual figures and rose 5.4 percent. Unifiedpost won almost 10 percent.
