Remarkable during the second semi-final of the Eurosong Contest: our compatriot Mustii who secretly shows a political message on his arm. However, that is prohibited.

“Peace”. Peace. That was written on Mustii’s left arm. In the beginning of his song Before the party is over that was not visible yet. Only when he bared his chest more and more towards the powerful end did the text on his left arm appear.

The organization of the Eurovision Song Contest bans political messages on and around the stage, but does not always succeed in stopping them. On Tuesday, Swedish singer Eric Saade also made a statement during the opening act by performing with a Palestinian scarf around his wrist. Irish artist Bambie Thug also wanted to express support for the victims of the war in the Gaza Strip, but was rejected.

It is not clear what the consequences could be for our compatriot. Mustii previously said he would not boycott the Eurovision Song Contest, but preferred to deliver “a message of hope and love”. So he did that on Thursday.
