A (financial) hangover in ‘Big Brother’. During the nominations, a candidate bought her freedom with money from the group pot. And not just a little bit: the Dutch Ashley (33) immediately made the prize money 20,000 euros lighter.

Thursday morning became four Big brothercandidates nominated to leave the house: Ashley, Karen, Randy and Jimmy. Ashley bought off her nomination. As a result, 20,000 euros disappeared from the group pot. Ashley is therefore no longer nominated and is safe for at least another week. Karen, Randy and Jimmy are still in the danger zone.

Right from the start, Ashley made it clear that she has only one goal: Big brother win and go home with the prize money. She would have no trouble manipulating and nominating fellow residents. So far this has not been well received: Ashley has already received several nominations and was the first to be voted out. By luck, she returned after another resident decided to quit.

The other players can only moderately appreciate the fact that she now collected a substantial amount from her coveted prize pool. “This is just throwing money away,” said Thursday morning. “Now she has all the attention again.” Resulting in tears for Ashley.
