RoyaltyActress Shannen Doherty (52) has great respect for the strength that Princess Kate has shown after her cancer diagnosis. The ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ star also has cancer. “Princess Kate, I admire your strength during this difficult time you have had to endure while dealing with cancer,” Doherty wrote on Instagram.
Princess Kate shared in a video on Friday evening that she is currently being treated for cancer. Doherty is especially angry about the fact that people have forced Princess Kate to tell her story. “Just because you are a public figure doesn’t mean the public controls you,” Doherty wrote on Instagram.

According to Doherty, all the gossip, conspiracy theories and simply morbid curiosity prompted Princess Kate to tell her story. “Even before she came to terms with it and explained it to her children,” writes the 52-year-old actress. “I pray that this is a teaching moment for all of us to respect the privacy of others, regardless of whether she or he is in the public eye.” Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer several times. The disease has now spread to her brain.
