For people with dementia, it often becomes more complicated to structure their day as the process progresses. It remains important for them too to experience a sense of meaning

to be, to be able to participate and to live the best life possible.

What is needed for this and who can support this?

On Thursday, May 23 from 7:30 PM we would like to discuss meaningful daily activities for someone with dementia. Consider, for example, specialized daytime activities, which can provide both pleasure and structure to the day. Because care is taken over during daytime activities (one or more half-days per week), the informal caregiver is given some time for themselves at that time.

We would like to highlight this from 3 sides:

the person with dementia, the informal caregiver and the professional.

We cordially invite you to discuss and think with us.

The Alzheimer Meeting Point Ermelo is held in De Baanveger, IJsbaanweg 45 in Ermelo.

You are welcome from 7 p.m. The program starts at 7:30 PM and ends around 9:00 PM. You can chat until 9:30 PM. Entrance is free. And of course there is room for your questions. We will provide a drink and a snack.

The Alzheimer Trefpunt Ermelo is the information and meeting place for everyone who comes into contact with dementia. For people with dementia, their loved ones and other residents and interested parties. There are expert speakers and an experienced moderator. We are there for you every second Thursday of the month.
