The tennis world is a bit in mourning. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have ended their relationship.

The Spanish former number two in the world among women (after several injuries dropped to number 126) and Greek number eight among men appeared to have found love together last summer. It even had a baby on social media: an Instagram page called “Tstsidosa.”

We read in the bio: “Best friends and soulmates, nothing less nothing more.” That account amassed almost 90,000 followers, who received videos and photos of the two tennis stars. They recently visited the training complex of football club Inter Miami, where they received jerseys from owner David Beckham.

But recently ‘Tsitsidosa’ has been offline. Badosa and Tsitsipas are no longer a couple. The Spanish woman announced this herself via Instagram.

“After careful consideration and many precious moments together, Stefanos and I have decided to part as friends,” said Badosa. “We have shared a journey full of love and experiences, and it is as friends with immense mutual respect that we now choose to continue on our own paths. As we transition into a new chapter in our lives, we continue to wish each other nothing but the best in all our endeavors.”
