“The Garden of Time”: that was the dress code that the famous guests had to work with this time for the fashion event of the year, the Met Gala. It produced beautiful images in New York on Monday evening.

The dress code referred to a dystopian short story of the same name that focused on the fleeting nature of beauty, but most guests looked no further than a flower garden for inspiration. From subtle lace or on their lapel, to a huge explosion of colours: flowers were almost everywhere. Even in an ice block as an ice-cold clutch. Hourglass figures are always plentiful too, but one star took it further this time.
