CelebritiesGood news for fans of ‘Pitch Perfect’. Rebel Wilson (44), who plays Fat Amy in the films, has confirmed that the script for the fourth part is in the works. The happy news comes no less than seven years after the release of the third film. “There have already been some conversations.”

The Australian actress shared the news when she was a guest at the London Palladium, a theater hall in London, last Monday. “I would really like it if the film happens,” said Wilson. “I think they are already working on the script.” Rebel also stated that there have already been discussions about the fourth film. “I think a couple should tie the knot. Maybe even Bumper (Adam DeVine) and I.”

Rebel Wilson also talked about ‘Bridesmaids’, one of her other films. The Australian actress revealed that she had actually auditioned for another role. However, the role in question ultimately went to Melissa McCarthy. According to Wilson, McCarthy got the role because she was “friends with the bosses.”

Disappointed

The actress, who emphasized that she was grateful for her role in ‘Bridesmaids’, was slightly disappointed when she heard the news. “My audition lasted a total of an hour,” Wilson said. “You know you’re doing well when your audition lasts an hour.” She continues: “Eventually I got a phone call and was told I had the part. When I asked which character it was, it turned out to be a completely different role.”

Wilson was then told by the makers that she looks very much like the British comedian Matt Lucas. “We created a role for you as his sister.” When the actress expressed that she was a little disappointed, she was told that she had “got a role in a Hollywood film”. “But actually I didn’t really have a role.”
