Geluk is now filming abroad for the Dutch program ‘3 op reis’, but is also working on the second season of ‘Not small to get’. Paul de Leeuw was the original presenter, but resigned after a disagreement arose at the beginning of the shooting period about the approach to the program. According to a response from the channel, Paul de Leeuw “raised his voice and expressed his dissatisfaction towards the director in a way that is not appropriate within a work situation.” The presenter apologized the next day, but the director still resigned.

The unrest that arose after the story came out made De Leeuw decide to quit. “I don’t want just one parent in the Princess Máxima Center to think, with a child who is sick, there is that boy who has raised his voice. So I stopped it and had huge conversations, also about how things didn’t turn out the way they are now interpreted. Everyone admits that,” De Leeuw said in the podcast ‘Lightless Lounge’ by Nikkie de Jager and Wes van Os. De Leeuw did say that there was a raised voice. “This program should be about the children at its center.”

Jurre Geluk is best known in the Netherlands for programs such as ‘Spuiten en Slikken’ and ‘Wie is de Mol?’ Since 2018, he has also presented the program ‘You’ll have it’ in which he meets young people with a condition or illness.
