I first had to look up which automagical order/pay/deliver option was meant at Amazon.
But that is the Spar-Abo option that I regularly use via Amazon.de.

You really have to do that deliberately. You often have the choice to order something once and receive an extra 5% or 10% discount, just like Spar-Abo.
And I do that regularly. But I also regularly cancel such a Spar-Abo.
Items that I often purchase through a Spar-Abo: Olive oil, toilet paper, various organic flours, baking products, protein powder, etc. Ideal and makes quite a difference. But you can cancel it at any time. So what is the problem?

Then again… you always receive an email notification of exactly what you have completed. And for every new delivery, according to the chosen interval, you will receive another email with exactly what and how. And a reminder if you want to cancel it.

So is this a fine by the INATTENTION consumer?
I find it bizarre then.

VAT: you cannot order a toilet seat via a Spar-Abo. Toilet paper, on the other hand, is. ;)
