A warm and sunny weekend is just around the corner. Although cumulus clouds may appear from the late afternoon today, Saturday and Sunday, temperatures remain quite high: “Up to 25 degrees in the Kempen”, according to our weatherman David Dehenauw. After the weekend it will be a little cooler and there is also a greater chance of showers.

Friday it will be quite sunny with high veil clouds. Later in the day cumulus clouds will appear, except on the coast. According to the RMI, the mercury rises to 16 degrees at the sea and in the High Fens, and to 21 degrees in the Kempen and Belgian Lorraine. During the evening the clouds start to disappear. At night it will be partly cloudy to clear, with some mist and fog here and there. The minimum temperatures are between 7 and 12 degrees.
Also Saturday starts sunny, but cumulus clouds will appear again during the day and disappear again in the evening. The maximum temperatures range from 18 to 23 degrees.
It will be a maximum of between 21 and 25 degrees Sunday still a bit warmer. The sun will make way for cumulus clouds later in the day. In the evening and at night a thunderstorm will pass over the country from the south.
Monday the sun then disappears again for a while. We will have changeable weather with a chance of showers and thunder, with temperatures up to 18 to 22 degrees.
Tuesday It is also changeable with a chance of some showers. The maximum temperatures are between 14 and 18 degrees with a usually moderate southerly wind.
