Russian President Vladimir Putin (71) has made plans to attack several NATO countries, especially in eastern Europe. This is what the head of Polish military counterintelligence claims.
Putin is said to have prepared “a mini-operation against one of the Baltic states,” Jarosław Strozyk said in an interview with the Polish newspaper ‘Dziennik Gazeta Prawna’. According to the counterintelligence chief, the Russian president has made plans to invade the Estonian city of Narva, located on the border with Russia, or “one of the Swedish islands.”
But it remains to be seen whether Putin’s plans will soon become reality. For example, the Russian president is currently being held back by the West, according to Strozyk. “What Western countries are doing together to support Ukraine makes it clear to Putin that a Western response to an attack against NATO would be even greater,” it said.

In recent months, several countries, including Germany, France, Lithuania and Denmark, have warned of a possible Russian attack against NATO.
However, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski recently said that a confrontation between the alliance and Russia would end in an “inevitable defeat” for Moscow. After all, according to Sikorski, NATO has three times as many military personnel, three times as many air force resources and four times as many ships as Russia.
