A Boeing 737 had to make an emergency landing in South Africa on Sunday after one of the plane’s wheels came loose during takeoff. Video footage shows how smoke appears to come out of the broken landing gear as the full FlySafair flight drives over the runway in Johannesburg.

Ultimately, no injuries were reported in the incident. After being evacuated, the passengers were able to board another flight to Cape Town, a few hours after their original departure time.

The wing also suffered damage after the landing gear collapsed under the weight of the aircraft. ©

The incident can be added to the growing list of safety incidents involving Boeing aircraft.
