Trump again criticizes Biden: “He caused a bloodbath at the border” | Abroad

The migration policy of US President Joe Biden (81) has led to “a bloodbath” at the border with Mexico. Donald Trump (77) said this in a lament about his Democratic rival. “Biden has brought the carnage and chaos from around the world and dumped it in our backyard,” Trump said.

Trump accuses Biden of causing “a massacre” at the US-Mexico border. “Under corrupt Joe Biden, every state has now become a border state,” the ex-president said on Tuesday. “He brought the carnage, the chaos and the murders from all over the world and dumped them in our backyard,” he continued.

Trump again referred to immigrants as “animals” during his speech, which he also did last month. The Republican has repeatedly vowed that there will be mass deportations if he is re-elected.

Trump made the provocative statements on Tuesday evening at a campaign rally in the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan. That state, a so-called ‘swing state’ where neither the Republican nor the Democratic presidential candidate has a clear majority, is crucial for the outcome of the elections.

Crime

Despite the many border crossings, the number of violent crimes in the US has decreased compared to last year, the FBI security service recently announced. Yet Trump regularly cites crimes committed by immigrants to denounce Biden’s migration policies. According to opinion polls, Trump has a clear lead over Biden when it comes to migration. Many Americans are concerned about the impact of increasing migration.

In response, the White House said on Tuesday that immigration is actually a good thing for the US. Spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre emphasized that the increase in the number of immigrants has helped, among other things, to stimulate employment. “We know that they make our country and our economy stronger,” said Jean-Pierre.
