Martina complains to neighbors because they play the piano in the early hours, their answer melts her heart: “Making sweets for them”

The Italian Martina has been living in an apartment building in London for some time. But lately, she was woken up before dawn on weekends by her neighbors, who were already playing their piano in the early hours. So she wrote a polite note to ask if it could be a little quieter on the weekend so she could sleep longer. But her heart melted instantly when she received a sweet response from the neighbors’ piano-playing children. “We are now making sweets for them,” said Tiktok.

Martina and her flatmates always get up very early during the week to go to work, so they like to stay in bed a little longer at the weekend. But the Italian woman was always woken up by the sound of the piano playing next door, so she decided to write a note. “I didn’t want to knock on their door and start a confrontation,” said Tiktok. “So I thought a note would be a polite way to address the noise pollution. And so my neighbors could also respond whenever they wanted.”

That response came in the form of a handwritten note from the children’s neighbors and a bowl of Azerbaijani sweets. “We realize that we are loud and naughty sometimes,” the neighbors’ children wrote. “We have just started playing the piano and our teacher requires us to practice every day, but we sincerely apologize for sometimes not taking into account the time of day or weekend. To be honest, Mom has often said that we should not play in the morning.”

As soon as Martina read the message, her heart melted and she felt ashamed for complaining.
