Shanti’s slippers
A few weeks ago things went terribly wrong in Meerdijk. After a tough negotiation with Ludo Sanders (Erik de Vogel), Shanti (Bertrie Wierenga) managed to convince him to do business with her. Reason for a party, or well, especially a reason for a slip-up.
While her husband Rik (Ferri Somogyi) was unsuspectingly cleaning the refrigerator, Shanti and her ‘partner in crime’ Richard (Edwin Jonker) were so carried away by the excitement of this purchasing moment that they shared the sheets with each other. Shanti soon began to regret it, but as the saying goes, regret always comes too late.
Pregnancy
Viewers have been speculating for a while now about where this storyline is going. Their conclusion? A pregnancy. Those rumors will only get stronger, because even the spoiler text now points to it. “Shanti thinks she knows the reason for her complaints,” as can be read in the text from Monday April 8 that GTST Street Team has just shared
The story continues the next day. During a conversation with her good friend Nina (Marly van der Velden), Shanti is overcome by emotions, but she hides this as soon as Rik enters. Since Nina is the only one who knows about Shanti’s rather short-lived affair, it’s not surprising that she pours her heart out to her again.
