Since its launch in 1980, more than three million Renault Masters have been sold, all built at the Batilly factory near Metz, France. A historic leader in both the European and French markets, the new Renault Master is available in a full range of versions covering all needs (urban and rural) and requirements of business users. It is available with a choice of more than forty body variants, an infinite number of body variants and front- or rear-wheel drive. It also offers an increased payload of up to 2.4 tonnes, a loading volume of 11 to 22 m³ and both the widest loading opening and the longest loading length in its class.

FROM A HIGHER LEVEL

The new generation of Renault Master sets standards in terms of efficiency, innovation and equipment. The commercial vehicle is available in three equipment levels with extensive standard equipment: start, advance and extra.

MORE EFFICIENT ENGINES

The new Renault Master is the efficient commercial vehicle in its class with an ‘Aerovan’ design and 20% lower air resistance (CdA). It is also the only one in its class produced in France. In Batilly, all versions of the Master are built on the same assembly line for greater flexibility. Engines and gearboxes are also produced and batteries assembled in France, while 84% of suppliers are also located in this country.

The Blue dCi diesel engine is available in three power variants (130, 150 and 170 hp), all in combination with a manual gearbox. The engines guarantee significantly lower fuel consumption (on average 1.5 l/100 km less) compared to the outgoing model, keeping CO2 emissions below 200 g/km (-39 g/km). A newly developed 9-speed fully automatic will be available around the end of this year.

RENAULT MASTER E-TECH ELECTRIC: FROM € 45,900

The new Renault Master is also available with a fully electric drive. There is a choice of two battery packs of 40 kWh (especially suitable for urban use) and 87 kWh (ideal for long distances). The Master E-Tech electric therefore meets every need and sets the new standard in its segment with its impressive range of up to 460 kilometers (WLTP). These record figures are accompanied by a payload of 1,625 kg for drivers with a B driver’s license and a maximum towing weight of 2.5 tons.

Thanks in part to an innovative thermal management system, energy consumption is limited to 21 kWh/100 km (WLTP) for the version with the 87 kWh battery. The battery is also suitable for DC fast charging with a power of 130 kW, which can recharge a range of 229 km in 30 minutes. The battery can be charged from 10% to 100% in four hours via a 22 kW AC wallbox.
