After a wet April and very changeable weather – sunny one day, hail the next – we will be treated to wonderful weather this coming weekend. According to Weeronline, the long Ascension weekend will be sunny, dry and warm.

Today cloudy and coldest day of the week
Today it is still cloudy and it will be the least warm day of the week: it will only be 14 to 18 degrees. Tomorrow, on Ascension Day, temperatures will rise slightly. Coastal provinces can expect around 16 degrees, while inland areas reach 18 to 20 degrees.
Tomorrow it may be quite foggy in certain regions, but in coastal provinces it will last until well into the morning. If you already have a beach day planned for tomorrow, it is useful to know that the weather can be a bit disappointing there. “Due to wind from the sea, it can remain foggy on the beaches and then it is only 14 degrees,” Weeronline warns. It is dry, with some clouds and cumulus clouds and there is little wind inland.
Again this weekend
And then the weekend: then it will be wonderful again. For example, on Friday temperatures will rise to 18 to 22 degrees, on Saturday we will reach 20 to 23 degrees. And on Sunday, the southern provinces may have a summer day, with a temperature of around 25 degrees. In the other provinces the mercury remains stuck at around 22 to 24 degrees. Normally it is 16 to 19 degrees at this time of year.
However, during the weekend the temperature on the beaches can be significantly lower due to a sea wind from the north. It will remain dry and sunny in the coming days. A sun power of 5 will be reached throughout the country and on Friday it will possibly reach a sun power of 6 for the first time this year. Make sure you apply sunscreen well and check whether your sunscreen is still durable!
