The fatal fall of a sixteen-year-old girl from a building in Amsterdam was a fatal accident. The girl had slipped and fallen down on Tuesday evening, police said.
The police do not want to say whether the girl fell from a window or from the roof. After the accident on Gelderskade, two sixteen-year-old boys were arrested. They are no longer suspects, the police said on Friday.
The boys were arrested because they ran away when police arrived at the scene of the accident. They were released at the end of the day on Wednesday.
The police received a report on Tuesday evening around 11:45 PM about a group of young people who had entered a building by breaking open a door. When the officers arrived at the building, the girl had recently fallen from a great height. She was taken to hospital in critical condition, where she died.
Friends of the victim laid a large number of flowers at the scene of the accident, reports said AT5.
