The new Dacia Duster is the next chapter of a model that has proven its ability to change the market. It is a true showcase of the brand and its core values: Robust and Outdoor, Essential and Cool, Eco-Smart. The Duster, which came onto the market in 2010 and was renewed for the first time in 2017, has earned its place in the SUV market with its unique positioning. Since the launch of the first generation, more than 14,000 units have been sold in the Netherlands.
The all-new Dacia Duster is available from 25,590 euros. All prices and versions can be found on dacia.nl. The new Duster will be available at the Dacia dealer before the summer.
The new Dacia Duster meets all brand values and takes the brand to a higher level. The combination of a very affordable price within its segment, an even more spacious interior and new equipment makes it unique in its class.
EQUIPMENT LEVELS
The new Duster range has a total of four equipment levels: Essential, Expression and a new offering at the higher equipment level with two versions that offer different but complementary content: Extreme and Journey. With its distinctive design with copper-colored accents, Duster Extreme is aimed at outdoor enthusiasts looking for a robust and practical car (including easy-to-wash MicroCloud upholstery, modular roof rails and rubber floor mats).
Duster Journey was developed for customers who prefer nuanced elegance, comfort and technology (including wireless smartphone charger, automatic parking brake and Media Nav Live).
YouClip, Dacia’s new and smart accessory system. YouClip is a system developed by Dacia that allows numerous specific accessories to be attached in a practical and solid way to central locations in the interior. The new Dacia Duster is factory equipped with four (Essential) or six YouClip mounting points. With the headrest holder for accessories, two more points can be added.
The color palette of the Dacia Duster is expanded with the metallic paint color Sandstone. In addition, the customer can also choose from six other colors: Lichen Kaki, Cedar Green, Brun Terracotta, Gris Schiste, Noir Nacré and Blanc Glacier.
ENGINES AND TRANSMISSIONS
The TCe 130, a 48V mild hybrid powertrain, is completely new for Dacia and combines a new generation 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a compact electric motor that supports the petrol engine during starting and acceleration. This results in approximately a 10% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, compared to a fuel engine with the same power. The new Dacia Duster TCe 130 comes onto the market with a six-speed manual gearbox and a choice of two- or four-wheel drive.
The HYBRID 140 engine, which Dacia introduced in the Jogger at the beginning of 2023, is now also available on the new Duster. The new Duster HYBRID 140 has an automatic gearbox and can drive fully electric in the city up to 80% of the time. Because the battery is charged while driving, the driver does not have to change his driving habits by plugging in. This translates into 40% lower fuel consumption in the city compared to a comparable combustion engine.
Dacia is the only manufacturer to offer bi-fuel petrol and LPG engines on all its combustion engine models under the ECO-G label. The new Duster can also be equipped with this proven technology from the factory. When running on LPG, the new Duster ECO-G 100 emits on average 10 percent less CO2 than a comparable petrol engine.
