Four people were killed at a car rally in Hungary on Sunday. A driver participating in the car rally veered his vehicle off the road and crashed into spectators. At least eight people were also injured.
The rally was immediately stopped. Several ambulances and rescue helicopters arrived on the scene after the accident.
In addition to the four fatalities, according to Hungarian media, a child is in mortal danger and one other person is seriously injured. Six people have minor injuries.
According to the police, it is still unclear how the car came off the road.
The rally was held in the north of the country, between the towns of Lábatlan and Bajót.
