Nice and retro: Lamborghini puts its best V12 sounds on a vinyl record [VIDEO]

Believe it or not, the V12 engine seems like something of a one Renaissance to experience. Until about a year ago, we thought that Lamborghini, for example, was going to drop the engine type, but with a bit of hybrid technology it turned out that there was still a place for it in the new Revuelto. More recently, Aston Martin also revived its V12, Ferrari actually named an entire model after the engine and, as far as we know, you can now even order a quad with a twelve-cylinder engine for the first time. However, you don’t have to be so colorful to be able to enjoy the iconic cry.

From Miura to Revuelto

Lamborghini has now pulled the curtain on a new piece merchandising, and that is one that at first glance has nothing to do with the brand. For example, the car manufacturer has put its name on a record player developed by Technics — apparently a well-known developer of record players. You’ve probably already noticed that we’re not exactly at home in this, but wait, because it gets more interesting. If you purchase the audio piece, you will receive a vinyl record that contains the sounds of six Lamborghini models with V12 in action. More specifically, this concerns the 400GT, the Miura SV, the Countach, the Diablo 6.0 SE, the Murciélago LP 640 and, of course, the Revuelto. Kitschy or not; in times of V12 despair it is quite a nice collector’s item. You can order that collectible from June and it will remain for that one month, so you will have to be quick. We don’t know yet how much it will cost, but since you can’t get the record without the record player, the price will probably not be cheap. For example, you pay almost 1,000 euros for the regular Technics SL-1200M7B, without Lambo logos.
