We already knew that this year’s Call of Duty game would be a Black Ops game set during the Gulf War in the early ’90s and at one point Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War was suggested as a name, but in Evidence has now been found in the code of Warzone that suggests that the new game will simply Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be called.

Furthermore, several references to “s3_cerberus_reveal” have been discovered. “Cerberus” is the code name of this year’s new Call of Duty game and so this piece of code suggests that the reveal of the new Call of Duty will take place this month during Season 3.

This way all the puzzle pieces fit together nicely. It was previously clear that Call of Duty would be present during the Xbox showcase in June, but that the game would be revealed before then. It looks like the unveiling will take place this month with a first teaser, followed by a more thorough unveiling in June.
