Samsung will present the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 on July 10. That’s what the Samsung news site says SamMobile. In addition to details about the foldable smartphones, the company may also share more information about its first smart ring: the Galaxy Ring.
According to SamMobile a new Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 10. During the event, Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6. Few details are known yet about the successors to the Z Flip5 and Z Fold5.
Both smartphones are foldable, but the way they are folded differs. For example, the Flip models have a horizontal hinge, which makes them a kind of folding phone. The Fold devices have a vertical hinge, allowing them to be unfolded for a larger screen.
The company has also not shared much about the Galaxy Ring. A top executive at Samsung announced earlier this year that the company wants to release a smart ring in the second half of this year. The ring probably has health functions, such as a heart rate monitor and pedometer.
The upcoming event is the second of its kind that Samsung is holding this year. In January, the manufacturer presented the Galaxy S24 smartphones, consisting of the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra.
