Samsung Galaxy Watch not set up properly?
Do you wear your Samsung Galaxy Watch on your left or right wrist? You indicate this when you first set up your smartwatch, because you also choose which side the buttons should be on. These are located on the right side, but it is also possible to wear the Galaxy Watch ‘upside down’, so that the buttons are on the left.
Would you like to know how to adjust this, for example if you have chosen the wrong setting? You may have accidentally selected the wrong options. The interface of your Galaxy Watch may then suddenly be displayed in reverse. You can solve this quite easily, but you do need to know where the required setting is.
Adjusting the ‘direction’ of your Galaxy Watch can be done on both the smartwatch itself and with the Galaxy Wearable app on your paired phone. Below we discuss both ways.
- Grab your Galaxy Watch and open the settings;
- Then swipe down and choose ‘General’;
- Swipe down a little again until you see ‘Direction’.
Here you can then set which wrist you wear your watch on and what the button position should be.
Do you use the Galaxy Wearable app? Then follow these steps:
- Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, make sure your smartwatch is connected, then tap ‘Watch Settings’;
- Here too you have to go to ‘General’;
- Under ‘Direction’ you can choose a wrist and button position, after which the orientation of the screen is automatically adjusted.
