Giro 2024: Fabio Jakobsen very happy with ‘great’ teammates after a difficult day

Fabio Jakobsen has not yet had a very successful Giro d’Italia. The Dutchman did not appear in the second sprint stage on Tuesday, but still enjoys the confidence of the team management of DSM-firmenich PostNL. This became apparent on the way to the finishing point Andora.

Jakobsen had to drop out on the only categorized climb of the day, the Colle delle Melogno (8.9 km at 4%). The fast man was then not left to his fate.
