Anderlecht defender Ludwig Augustinsson sounds combative for the match against Genk, but especially Club Brugge.
At Het Nieuwsblad, the Anderlecht wing defender reflected again on last weekend’s match against Union. “It was an intense match with many physical duels and battle for the ball. The aggressiveness was palpable. We knew in advance that it would be a tough match, but of course we wanted to win.”
Anderlecht will face KRC Genk next Saturday, while Club Brugge will face Union at home. Blauw-Zwart currently leads with two points over Anderlecht and three over Union. A victory is therefore crucial for the Purple & White to keep their dream of the national title alive.
“Bruges are currently two points ahead of us. It will be a fight to the end. Now it is important to recover and focus on the next match,” Augustinsson once again emphasized the importance of sharpness within the team.
