The pink Pogacar was eagerly awaited on Monday, who had impressively won the double in the Tour of Italy a day earlier. That is the nickname of Torino and the color in which the first division team plays football.
The UCI had initially objected, but because the color is reflected in the Giro leader’s shirt, everything is in order according to the regulations. The intention is that the leader in the general classification will wear this outfit for the entire Giro, even though the Slovenian started on Tuesday with black pants. “Not everyone likes the pants, but I am a fan of them,” Pogacar concluded the discussion before the start on Tuesday.
