In the first leg of the second semi-final of the Champions League, Borussia Dortmund and PSG came face to face tonight. The Germans took a 1-0 victory.

We saw a much better match than on Tuesday evening, when Bayern Munich and Real Madrid drew 2-2 in their semi-final.

PSG opened the game well and put the necessary pressure forward, but this did not result in many opportunities. Dembélé was the most active player for the visitors, but that did not result in any goal chances, let alone balls between the posts.

After a good 25 minutes, Dortmund, which had until then limited itself to a low block, started to get into the game much better. The pace increased, making it a beautiful spectacle for the neutral spectator.

The Signal Iduna Park exploded when Schlotterbeck kicked a ball high forward and Füllkrug, edged offside, wonderfully kicked a bouncing ball past Donnarumma. Sabitzer had the score at 2-0 with a volley, but he kicked the goalkeeper.

Immediately after the break things went well back and forth on both sides. Mbappé finally got into position, but he hit the post. Hakimi also hit the target in the restart. Five minutes later, Ruiz headed a great chance wide.

It kept going back and forth, with great chances on both sides, but there were no more goals. Dortmund would have wanted a little more and that would have been possible, everything is still possible for PSG in the return match.
