Bayer Leverkusen has done it again. The newly crowned national champion was on track to lose the top match against Stuttgart for a long time, but still equalized in the final minute. Striking: last weekend Leverkusen achieved exactly the same scenario against Dortmund.

There were no goals in the first half, but Stuttgart struck shortly after halftime. Chris Führich was the goal scorer. Nine minutes later, former Union striker Deniz Undav doubled the lead, scoring his 18th league goal. Not much later, Amine Adli scored the tying goal, but Leverkusen did not seem to get any further.

Xabi Alonso’s team was on its way to suffering its first defeat of the season. But that was beyond Robert Andrich’s account. The German midfielder managed to score the equalizer in minute 96, the very last minute of injury time. Leverkusen continues an amazing series and has now been undefeated for 46 games in a row.
