KRC Genk wants to get at least a European ticket. Afterwards it will probably be a busy mercato. A number of boys from the current starting eleven are leaving. The Limburgers may break a club record in 2024.
Trésor and Vandevoordt
This summer, the final deals of Maarten Vandevoordt (RB Leipzig) and Mike Trésor (Burnley) will be finalized, as will that of Nicolas Castro (Elche). In January, Racing Genk already let Joseph Paintsil (LA Galaxy), Gerardo Arteaga (Monterrey) and Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace) leave. A number of boys will be added in the summer.
El Khannouss most expensive transfer
Mark Mckenzie and Mujad Sadick are only under contract for one year. If they do not sign, Dimitri De Condé will certainly sell them. Bilal El Khannouss is also a player who will certainly leave the Cegeka Arena. There is also the question of whether Carlos Cuesta will remain on board. KRC Genk can reach 100 million euros in sales by 2024.
