More than 1,000 supporters came to Club Brugge’s open training on Wednesday during the Easter holidays. And there they also saw a big boost in the form of the presence of Simon Mignolet.
Denis Odoi, Skov Olsen and Victor Barberá trained individually in the Basecamp. Club Brugge announced this via social media on X. However, there was also positive news to report about the open training with around 1,000 supporters.
Simon Mignolet was there again and fully participated in the training with the blue-black troops. As a result, it seems possible that he will still be fit for the top match against RSC Anderlecht next weekend.
Mignolet has been struggling with a hamstring injury for a while, but could possibly play against the Purple & White. Although he recently suffered a recurrence of his old injury against STVV, which means that even fewer risks will now be taken with him.
Against Anderlecht or against PAOK Saloniki?
In recent weeks, Nordin Jackers did the honors at Club Brugge. During the open training, the blue-black fans were able to regain confidence, also with a view to the next nine matches.
If it doesn’t work out against Anderlecht, the important match in the quarter-finals of the Conference League on Thursday, April 11 against PAOK Saloniki is also a possible option for the former Red Devil of Club Brugge.
