The Easter weekend is traditionally also the weekend in which youth play many tournaments. It is no different with the youth of RSC Anderlecht this weekend. The finals were held on Easter Monday and that resulted in two defeats.

The youngsters from RSC Anderlecht had already played great matches earlier this weekend. They won against Sporting CP and PSG, but lost against FC Nordsjaelland. It was enough to qualify for the semi-finals.

Belgrade and PSG too strong on final day

That resulted in a semi-final against Partizan Belgrade. They eventually lost 2-0, which resulted in a final for third place.

PSG was again the opponent. The Parisians had been warned by the earlier match (earlier this weekend Anderlecht had won 3-2).

Fourth place for Anderlecht

That would not be repeated, because in the battle for bronze it ultimately became 2-1 for PSG. This made it fourth place for the people of Brussels.

They can look back on an educational tournament. In the coming weeks, months and years they can continue to show themselves to the world.
