That happened a few hours after the end of the club’s championship celebrations. It was the victim’s son who made the tragic discovery. “He is a club icon. We will do everything we can to support him,” says Claude Vindevogel. Karl Vannieuwkerke, vice-chairman of KSV, also expressed his support during the Gent-Wevelgem broadcast.
