Belgium should only let top countries take precedence
Belgium’s strong performance this season is also striking. Our country comes in sixth place in this season’s coefficient rankings and must therefore only be followed by the big five. This is mainly due to the impressive course of Club Brugge, which reached the semi-finals of the Conference League.
However, KRC Genk (Conference League group stage), Antwerp (Champions League group stage), AA Gent (Conference League intermediate round) and Union (Conference League round of 16) also contributed.
