33-year-old Thomas Mustin may have been relatively unknown in Flanders before his Eurovision participation, but he has been a well-known actor and singer in French-speaking Belgium for years.
One thing is certain: entertainment is ingrained in Mustin. After his theater studies in Louvain-La-Neuve, he immediately appeared in various French-language theater roles. So also Romeo & Julietwith which he ended up in prestigious theaters in Belgium, but also in France.
He immediately got several TV and film roles and made a particular impression with his role as Kevin Fisher in the RTBF series La Treve. That series will eventually also be broadcast on VRT, in France and Switzerland, and even Netflix will eventually take over. In 2019 he won the Magritte Prize for ‘Best young male talent’.
And he wants to continue acting. This summer, for example, he is playing the leading role in La Nuit se traîne by Michiel Blanchart, with Romain Duris and Jonas Bloquet. “Cinema remains one of my most important activities,” he told BRUZZ Select earlier this month.

Eurosong always involves a bit of acting, but Mustii will mainly have to rely on his vocal cords to convince the jury and the rest of Europe. And he is no rookie in that either. He released an EP in 2016 and later two more successful albums. In this way he ended up at almost all the important French-language festivals such as Les Ardentes and Les Francofolies, has already performed on stage in Brussels at the Brussels Summer Festival, the Irisfeest and Les Nuits Botaniques and sold out the Ancienne Belgique three times.
Since February 2023, Mustin has also been a jury member for Drag Race Belgique, a program about drag queens on the RTBF.
Mustin is born and raised in Brussels. After growing up in Brussels, he moved with his parents to Walloon Brabant, but came back to Sint-Gillis after his studies. “He really feels Brussels,” says his entourage.
