This year, after Kavka, Trix and Vizit, it continues to rain anniversary parties in Antwerp youth work. Creative hotspot Het Bos on the Ankerrui can also blow out ten candles. All aspects of ten years of socio-cultural work – especially by and for young people – will be discussed this month in one marathon party lasting ten days. “We come from a squat where we had to protect the artists with parasols during stormy weather. Fortunately, a lot has changed in all that time.” Yet the people of Het Bos see how things can be even better.
