Laura T., the 66-year-old Belgian who disappeared last week on the Canary Island of Tenerife with her husband Marc O. (71), has been found dead. According to local media, the woman was violently killed. Her husband is still missing.

The Belgian woman who had been missing with her husband on the Spanish island of Tenerife since last week has been found. This was reported by the Spanish National Center for Missing Persons (CNDES). The CNDES did not report whether the woman is still alive or not.

It concerns 66-year-old Laura T. According to local media, she was violently killed. Her body was reportedly found in the sea. The Foreign Office confirms that the woman has been found dead. Her family has been informed. The arrest report for her 71-year-old husband Marc O. remains unchanged. He hasn’t been located yet.

CNDES provided no further details. The two, who have lived in Tenerife for sixteen years, were last seen on April 22. The search notice followed two days later. Their car, a blue Opel Mokka with a Spanish license plate, has also disappeared.

The Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs has announced that it is closely monitoring the file.
