The Red Devils are currently all still active at their clubs, where they are entering the final phase of the season. In June they will go to Germany for the European Championships.

They want to make a good impression there under national coach Domenico Tedesco. The Devils qualified for the tournament without any problems and may have healthy ambitions in Germany. Tedesco will still have to make a few decisions, but with Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Jérémy Doku, among others, he has pure class talent.

Will Tedesco stay with the Devils?

There was undoubtedly some concern in the association building in Brussels when it became known that Tedesco would be on the list of AC Milan to succeed Stefano Pioli. And while our national coach only just extended his contract until 2026. To the German press agency DPA Tedesco himself now clarified the whole matter.

“I have extended my contract and sent a clear signal to everyone: the clubs, the players and the association,” said Tedesco. “I feel at home here, so things from outside don’t affect me that much. I think there will always be rumors, but I have decided not to let them influence me.”

World Cup 2026

The football association seems to fully believe in Tedesco. Proof of this is the new contract he signed until 2026, the year in which he has to lead the Devils at the World Cup in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Milan now seems to be switching gears and going for Mark van Bommel. The Dutchman is said to be the favorite new coach of advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Tedesco will definitely stay with the Devils.
