This year, several well-known Antwerp locations are once again making space available to students to study there during the coming examination period. This concerns a total of 24 organizations. New this year include Opera Ballet Flanders and Mediahuis.

Opening up special study places is an annual initiative by the city of Antwerp and STAN, the Antwerp student platform. The idea behind it is that students can study better when they do it together – or at least in each other’s presence. This year, more than 400 study places will be provided from May 3 to June 30, which will be made as pleasant as possible in terms of views and/or facilities. All locations have free WiFi and power points, and healthy snacks, tea/coffee, relaxation and/or headphones are often also provided.

From Friday, May 3, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen will give students the opportunity to use the café of the iconic opera building on the Leien. Mediahuis, the publisher of, among others Gazette of Antwerp and the Newspaper, in turn, makes office space available at the company’s headquarters on the Left Bank. Wasbar, Steelforce and The Ash are also new this year.

The organizations or locations that have also participated in (one of) the past years and are participating again are Arenberg, Aquafin, BDO, Beurs voor Diamanthandel, Campus National of Thomas More, Federal Insurance, Photo Museum, GATE15, Youth Center Vizit, the MAS, MCA Labs, Nokia, Antwerp Police, the Provincial House, QbD, the Rubens House, the Scouts House, TakeOffAntwerp, and The Beacon.

You can register once at www.study360.be and then always see the available places. Reservations are not necessary.
