Security organization G4S provides a gross premium of 1,000 euros for every new agent who remains employed for at least six months.

In the news: G4S is looking for 75 extra security officers for the summer peak at Brussels Airport and is offering a gross bonus of 1,000 euros for new officers.

  • The promotion applies to appointments between April 24 and June 1, 2024.
  • Agents who already work at G4S can also claim this premium if they can convince someone to come on board.
  • One of the target groups: experienced security officers.
  • Women are more than welcome, the company emphasizes. The G4S agents at the airport are mainly known to the general public for their hand luggage checks. Female passengers may only be checked by someone of the same gender.

Bottleneck profession

The context: Approximately 1,000 security officers work at Brussels Airport, which is rebounding after the corona hit. However, the profession has been on the list of shortage professions for years. Security organizations such as G4S therefore provide and fund all necessary training that candidates must follow. The current recruitment drive is a “long-term investment,” the company says.
