The newspaper reports that the news has not yet been officially announced because the player wants to focus on the play-offs with Anderlecht. He would have made it clear in private.
Jan Vertonghen currently has 154 caps to his name. He could score ten times as a Red Devil. He made his debut at the age of 20 under René Vandereycken, against Portugal.
