Market month: grand prize winners can explore the market with a caddy (Hemiksem)

There is also a lot to do in Hemiksem during Market Month in April. About twenty prizes are raffled every week. The main winner of each week can scour all the stalls armed with a caddy.

Seventy markets are participating this year in the province of Antwerp. In addition to the provincial main prize, an E-bike, with the Scratch & Win promotion, the municipalities can also organize the promotion and prize pool themselves.

“In Hemiksem, visitors to the weekly market on Wednesday receive a scratch card with every purchase,” says Alderman of Markets Kris Verbeeck (CD&V). “A draw will take place on April 10, 17 and 24 and May 1, where visitors with a winning scratch card can win a gift voucher on behalf of the municipality at one of the market stalls. Every week you can win a voucher at each market stall.”

“Each of these weeks there is also a main prize. The winner can tour the market with a caddy and receive a gift at each stall. During the Easter holidays, we also provide entertainment at the market, which is currently still on Red Cross Square, with the visit of the Easter Bunny (April 3) and a bouncy castle (April 3 and 10). The cafeteria of Oxford football club is also still open for a drink.”
