Belgium does not, the Netherlands does go through to the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 final – Songfestival.be

The two semi-finals of the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest are over and the results are known. At the end of the live show, presenters Petra Mede and Malin Åkerman announced the results of the televoting. The Netherlands was named as a finalist, Belgium was not.

The ten finalists as announced can be found below. This concerns the top ten countries in the row. The countries are listed in starting order. During the semi-final we were announced in random order and The exact results will only be announced after the final.

The party is over for Mustii and Belgium: our country was not announced as one of the ten finalists. Sarah Bonnici from Malta, Besa from Armenia, Aiko from the Czech Republic, Saba from Denmark and Megara from San Marino also missed the net.

Favorites like Joost Klein from the Netherlands and Nemo from Switzerland were rewarded by the viewers at home. Furthermore, the Greek Marina Satti, the Austrian Kaleen, the Armenian duo Ladaniva, the Latvian Dons and the Georgian Nutsa were given the green light. Striking: we see Georgia and Latvia in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time since 2016.

Also the four entries that were discussed shortly after that of our countryWe’ll see you all again on Saturday. In starting order it was 5miinust & Puuluup from Estonia, Eden Golan from Israel, Gåte from Norway and, again, Joost Klein from the Netherlands. Also Europapa will therefore participate in the final of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest.
