CelebritiesThe American police are conducting a large-scale investigation into rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs (54) for possible sexual abuse. The artist himself was not arrested, but his homes were searched. After the raid, the mother of his sons, Misa Hylton (51), shared a video showing them being handcuffed.

In an Instagram post, Hylton claims her sons were searched with guns pointed at them during the raid. The video appears to be from security cameras around the house and has been sped up. The footage shows military vehicles driving into the street, followed by officers entering the garden. The footage has been edited with red circles to highlight the actions, including turning off one of the cameras. Inside the house, drones and soldiers can be seen walking through the corridors, before placing one of ‘Diddy’s’ sons against the wall with his hands on his head.
Later, the other son also comes out of a room with his hands on his head, after which he is dragged out of the house. He is then transferred to another officer. Under the video, Hylton wrote a long account in which she claims that her sons were treated poorly. “The overt militarized violence used against my sons Justin and Christian is deplorable,” she wrote. “If these had been the sons of a non-black celebrity, they would not have been treated with the same aggression.” She continued: “The attempt to humiliate and terrorize these innocent young black men is base! Enough is enough! Did Justin need multiple laser beams from firearms aimed at his chest? Did Christian need a gun pointed at the back of his head while he was handcuffed?”
She continued, “How many times have we seen young, unarmed black men not make it out of these situations alive? My son’s attorney, Jeffrey Lichtman, is investigating the excessive force that was unnecessary and certainly not required by this search warrant. We will fight for justice with all the means at our disposal.”

Lots of military violence
The rapper’s lawyers also claimed in a statement to ‘The Mirror’ that too much military force was used during the search. His lawyer Aaron Dyer said: “There is no excuse for the excessive force and hostility of the authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.” Dyer added that the recent allegations and media attention appear to be causing a hasty condemnation of Combs. He stressed that no criminal or civil liability has yet been established for the allegations. The rapper continues to maintain that he is innocent and will continue to fight to clear his name.
The lawyer also noted that the sons have not been arrested. They were seen returning to the mansion the day after the raid.
